Pot of hot water,
2 fresh artichokes
Or 1 artichoke per person
Yummiest addicting sauce ever
6 fresh Garlic cloves
1 tbsp of Mayo
2 tbsp of butter, melted
The Juice of 1 lemon
1 clove of garlic, minced
Season salt, I like SPIKE
tiny pinch of cayenne pepper
Prep the artichokes:
Cut off the outer leaves.
Take the pot that fits your artichokes with some room and fill it half way up with water.
Put it on high heat. When water starts to boil put your prepped artichokes in to the water and cover. They will float.
Let boil on medium heat for 30/40 minutes. The way to check the artichoke is to see if a leaf will pull off with ease.
make the sauce:
Take your butter and minced garlic and melt quickly in microwave or on stovetop for 30 seconds.
Add mayo and stir quickly.
Squeeze in lemon juice and seasoning.
Serve with drained artichokes immediately!
